The Surf Life Saving Club with a Snack Shack Around the Corner
If you’ve been to Sydney before, or have seen all of the ‘Must See’s’ in Sydney. Such as the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb and the Skywalk at the Sydney Tower.
Just to name a few.
Maybe you just want to get away from the Sydney CBD Concrete Jungle for a little bit?
If so, then why not check out the Royal National Park? It’s one a popular place for Sydney Siders to take a day trip and get away from it all for a little.
It’s is only 29 Kilometers (18 Miles) south of the Sydney CBD and only minutes away from the Sutherland Shire.
The Royal National Park has beaches to walk and swim, several kilometers of hiking trails for treks and nature walks. There are also some stunning views just North of Stanwell Park.
Royal National Park does have an entrance fee of $11 dollars.
So be sure to get up early and arrive to the National Park to take full advantage of your day and exploration.
You could easily spend a whole weekend at Royal National Park and not still have lots to see and do for your next visit.

Looks like a great destination. A nice break from the city. Love the photo of the sand castle.
Hey Stephanie, it’s a beautiful location and so close to the city. It’s easy to forget how close you really are to Sydney. I love the sand castle too, I should have taken more photos of it.
All pics are nice, my favorite is the abandoned sand castle…and the b/w one right after that…
Thanks Siddhartha. I really like the sand castle one too. I really wish I would have taken more photos of it.
