The Gorgeous Waterfall at Waterfall Village. Pentecost Island, Vanuatu.

Waterfall Village

These incredible falls are tucked away at Waterfall Village on Pentecost Island. They’re roughly 150 feet (45 meters) and offer a very cool and refreshing swimming hole at the bottom.

You really do feel like you are in prehistoric times when swimming here.

I alway think about poisonous insects and cant relax when on this tropical places. Wondering is Vanuatu isolated enough to not have much such critters?

      Hi Vesna,

Thank you for your comment. There aren’t any seriously high risk poisons insects or critters on any of the islands in Vanuatu – nothing that you have to worry about. If you snorkel, Scuba Diver or even swim you do need to be aware of Stonefish which are poisonous.

However, I had don a lot of snorkeling in Vanuatu and still have not seen one.

Although, I have see Sea Snakes.
